Case Study: Managing a Complex Cross-Border Compliance Matter
The Challenge
In working in Kuwait, I was representing a big regional company that was dealing with complicated regulatory problems and which could be subject to heavy fines in case it failed to follow the compliance procedure properly.
Strategy Approach
I did a comprehensive evaluation of the company’s internal operations from a legal and regulatory perspective. Using my knowledge and skills of administrative and commercial laws,
I found the necessary ways of solving the problem for the company.
I also produced legal briefings and engaged with regulators to solve the problem for my client.
The Results
The problem was solved in a successful way that helped the client to save himself from heavy administrative fines. Besides, the problem solved helped me to establish a better compliance environment for the company.
This case demonstrates how I can use both litigation and corporate advisory services to help companies in highly regulated markets.
