Case study: How to Solve a High Value Rental Dispute?
The Problem
Being a lawyer, I have encountered many instances when my client, the landlord, gets into some disputes with his/her tenant where he/she pays the rent late and violates certain provisions in the agreement without terminating the agreement.
The Strategy
On such an occasion, I make a comprehensive analysis of the tenancy agreement to find all the breaches made by him. As a result, I give eviction notices along with notices for the recovery of rent as per the laws of the UAE.
Further, I appear before the Rental Dispute Settlement Center (RDC) and argue the case on the grounds of valid arguments and proof that the tenant had breached the contract. I take measures simultaneously to recover the rent from him/her.
Outcome
I succeeded in the case and got eviction along with the recovery of overdue rent.
From this case study, it becomes clear how I am able to protect the interests of my clients through my knowledge of the law.
