Case Study: Strategic Resolution of Complex Construction Claims

The Problem: In a crucial construction project in the area, a top-notch construction company had been faced with a conflict involving many layers resulting from huge delays and changes that threatened the financial viability of the entire project. This project required a deep understanding of the technical issues involved in the field of construction and the contractual liability issue of the matter in the United Arab Emirates market.

My Approach: I undertook the full analysis of the construction contract and designed a proper claims plan in relation to Extension of Time (EOT) and change orders. In carrying out the expert report through the arbitration process, I ensured that I minimize the effect of time and cost for the benefit of my client without sacrificing the legal position.
