Biography
I am a seasoned Human Resource professional who has been involved for nearly 16 years in the shaping of the organizational structure as well as the human resources management within the UAE and Pakistan. Being knowledgeable about aligning HR activities with business goals, I have always made it a point to ensure all departments conform to the best practices.
As an HR consultant at HHS Lawyers, my concerns are primarily the complexity of the UAE Labor Law, visa handling as well as compliance matters. The reason I mention this is because I hold an MBA in Human Resources management with 3.5 CGPA, which has not only provided me theoretical knowledge, but also rich practical experience in payroll processing (WPS), HRIS administration as well as performance appraisals.
My leadership skills are strategy-oriented, as I have collaborated with various teams of HR professionals in ensuring employee engagement and reducing attrition rate. I am holistic; apart from record keeping, I strive towards creating a favorable work environment through proactive conflict resolution, salary evaluations as well as extensive benefits administration.

Case Study: Workforce and Legal Compliance
The Problem: Being in a quickly evolving corporate environment, the company had a hard time managing inconsistent HR policies and lacking systematic performance measurement leading to growing employee attrition and compliance risks due to the emergence of UAE Labor Law. The company’s payroll and insurance systems were also required for updating in order to handle larger numbers of employees.
My Plan: I undertook a comprehensive HR audit in order to determine areas of policy discrepancies. The HRIS and WPS payroll systems were optimized to provide monthly report generation hassle-free, and a performance appraisal system based on objective measurements was introduced. In order to minimize the risks related to our employees’ assets, I have changed our current insurance package to make sure that everyone is covered by the best health insurance package possible but still has the company’s professional liability insurance. Meanwhile, our management team received training regarding new Labor Law requirements.
The Solution: As a result, employee satisfaction grew while the attrition rate dropped considerably. Our organizational structures are adjusted according to pay equity principles, which makes our environment even more motivating for everyone. Compliance violations are no longer an issue, and our organization is now able to grow and evolve further.
